iSNARK! TV 10

Watch below, or download here. (9:14/76.6 MB)

Pictured above is our "utility restoration speedometer". You'll see why, as most of the east coast was hit by Hurricane Irene last weekend (we got slapped by Tropical Storm Irene instead). Watch as we compare our monopoly utility company to FEMA.
Also (and more important), we discuss and demonstrate my own setting of Psalm 95 with the antiphon "If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts".
We have a second version of our Krakowska Kielbasa commercial as well!

Listen below, or download here. (41:29/37.9 MB)

The continuation of our multi-part series on the new translation of the Roman Missal, the Mass we will be celebrating beginning XI-27-11.  In this installment, we touch on the Bishops' permission to use some of the new translation early, plus breaking down changes in the Credo, Orate Frates, Preface Dialogue, and Sanctus. Links include memos from the Archdioceses of Boston, New York, and Cincinnati, regarding early use of the new translation and recommended musical settings.
We also side-step to Mass in "Ubbi-Dubbi" language (Remember the children's TV show Zoom?), and "Freeze Pops versus cigarettes!"

The first in a multi-part series on the new translation of the Roman Missal, that is, the Third Typical Edition, which will be in full effect on November 27, 2011, the First Sunday of Advent.  Here on this "Snark-and-three-quarters-tennial" episode, we give a brief timeline, then cover changes from the Penitential Act to the Collect.  Also, iSNARK! TV has a new channel on Vimeo, my rant on cell phones.

GOODBYE PYRO.TV - HELLO VIMEO!

Pyro.tv apparently went south. Until not long ago, that was our third home for our videocasts (Christus Vincit TV and iSNARK! TV). That site has been down now for quite some time, so I deleted them from my favorites bar. Obviously I still have the channel at YouTube. However, I have now added all our CVTV and iSNARK! TV videos (1-9) onto Vimeo (vimeo.com). My Vimeo Channel is here!

So now you really have FOUR possible homes to watch a new iSNARK! video:
This site (isnarkmedia.blogspot.com), of course.
YouTube
Vimeo
(and, if you're my friend:) my Facebook wall!

And if you haven't yet, don't forget to stop over at NEW Fans of the iSNARK! page on Facebook and become a fan! You'll be glad you did!

Peace,
BMP

Today we discuss and demonstrate my own muscial setting of Psalm 67 for the Twentieth Sunday of Ordinary Time (A) with the antiphon O God, let all the nations praise you, and we even break down a Gregorian Psalm tone (this Psalm setting comes with one), but not before a visit from our favorite little drunken schlep shown at left!

We also have a commercial for Christus Vincit Whitewash. David "Shamusrocks" Doyle would be so proud!

For the first time in over three years, we finally have a videocast! Re-born as iSNARK! TV, and continuing the number sequence (just like we did in the two changes in audio-only cast names), today's videocast is a demonstration of the Psalm for the Nineteenth Sunday of Ordinary Time (Year A) - Lord, Let Us See Your Kindness, with Psalm 85.

Also, we're high tech, but not "too high tech".
Links included in this segment:

What Does the Prayer Really Say?

Yes, we have a video version of the commercial for the deli meat shown at left!
